6 week session that meets Tuesdays from 6 to 6:45pm

Open to children 9-12 years of age with no previous formal singing training

Min. 3/Max. 6 participants

$80/participant

Mandatory material: FULL VOICE WORKBOOK - LEVEL 1 (needs to be purchased in time for use during first session on )
Supplementary materials supplied by instructor, eg. songs, activity pages, exercises, accompaniment tracks

​what it's all about

​New skills, new friendships and a love of music are just the beginning of the many fantastic benefits of joining the ONLINE SINGING CLUB. Here are the three learning categories that will be included in each session:
​

TECHNIQUE
Children will begin to learn the basics of singing technique such as:
- posture and breath management
- free voice production
- vocal hygiene

THEORY
​Children will work on important musicianship skills such as: 
- ear-training
- sight singing
- rhythm reading
- tonic sol-fa (DO, RE, MI etc)

Progress will be tracked by weekly use of the FULL VOICE WORKBOOK - LEVEL 1 ​ 

MUSIC
​Children will have fun in a creative environment singing songs from Disney and Broadway that are approachable for beginner singers. They will learn about:
- interpretation and acting
- singing with good vocal technique
- singing with confidence
- singing expressively ​
